Extra Flexible elastomer-based compound, crosslinkable "ambient curing" environmental  friendly for power and special cable insulation and sheathing

Polidiemme G/440 is a new compound specifically developed for cables insulation and sheathing. It is based on an elastomeric polyolefin blend grafted with silane and crosslinkable 'ambient curing' or by exposure to moisture according to Sioplas^® method. It doesn’t contain halogens nor other elements which can produce toxic effluents in case of fire.

Its mechanical and thermal performances and good fluid resistance make it suitable to be used in many applications even in industrial environment, comprising H05RR-F, welding, immersed pump and very flexible cables.

Polidiemme G/440 can be processed on standard PVC extrusion line, even if equipped with double flight screw; thanks to its high fluidity motor current load and back pressure are low also at high screw speed.

Polidiemme G/440 must be added with 5% of Catalyst CT/1 just before extrusion to promote crosslinking. The new grade Catalyst CT/3 BLK and CT/4 BLK is also available to impart black color and UV resistance for jacketing and insulation application; it is packed in moisture proof bags to allow long term storage without any need of predrying before use.

Polidiemme G/440 doesn’t contain ungrafted silane and can guarantee the highest safety conditions during processing and the lowest ambient impact.
