Polidiemme G/420 is a high modulus EPR based "ambient curing" crosslinkable compound; it consist of a silane pregrafted base compound and a catalyst masterbatch (Sioplas method).  It offers mechanical and electrical properties suitable for low voltage power cable insulation in a wide range of applications, including "high modulus" requirements.

In order to prevent prescorching the pregrafted compound and the catalyst masterbatch must be stored separately and mixed only when used.

Polidiemme G/420 must be added with 5% of Catalyst CT/1 or CT/2-HP just before extrusion to promote crosslinking. The new grades, Catalyst CT/3 BLK, CT/4 BLK are also available to impart black color and UV resistance for jacketing application; it is packed in moisture proof bags to allow long term storage without any need of predrying before use.
